We always like to go there, but we were a bit disappointed today because the hand cheese didn't taste as good as always. Has the product been changed? A shame, a shame !!!!.

For over 30 years we have always been our goal to drink wine and eat. Before that, a walk through the vineyards.

One of many ostrich taverns in Bodenheim. The service is courteous and friendly. The dishes are simple and tasty, but not necessarily cheap.

Unfortunately I can only give two stars now. Among other things, we had Spundekäs with pretzels for a relatively expensive 7 €, the competition in the area is cheaper. The Spundekäs was put in the fridge well prepared instead of being freshly served on the plate / bowl. As a result, it already drew water and didn't look so nice. My kids didn't want to eat this Spund cheese. Now for the positive, the Cola bottle was very good and drinkable. The steak with the fried potatoes was delicious too.

Wonderful Straussenwirtschaft in Bodenheim, super nice courteous staff, delicious food and delicious Woi. We would love to come back.

The kitchen is open until 10 p.m. - if all other Bodenheim restaurants are already closing, you can get something to eat here 😃. Otherwise it's just quaint here and always nice 👍

Cozy location where you can sit outside, inside and down in the vaulted cellar by the barrels! Service was friendly, the food was delicious and something special are the different types of hand cheese!

Rheinhessische cosiness and simple, tasty wines. Everything that comes from the kitchen can be recommended. The audience is mixed and entertaining. The service is warm. I get an appetite right away.
